Base Salary: $75,000-$125,000 + 10% Commission Remote (Tampa or Chicago preferred) About the Role We are a recruiting firm that works with over 50 logistics and transportation companies nationwide. One of our clients is actively hiring a proven freight sales professional who can produce, close, and grow revenue. This role is built for experienced logistics sales reps who want control over their book of business and immediate commission on every shipment. If you are tired of capped commissions, slow ramps, or micromanagement, this role is worth your attention. Responsibilities * Drive new business through outbound prospecting, inside sales, networking, and high-volume cold calling as part of a structured sales strategy * Manage and expand relationships with existing customers to increase wallet share and long-term revenue * Onboard and develop new customer accounts, ensuring consistent growth and retention * Collaborate closely with internal operations and functional teams to deliver tailored transportation solutions * Build and execute sales strategies by analyzing market data, identifying opportunities, and documenting sales processes * Respond to prospect and customer inquiries, including preparing RFQs and RFPs with competitive pricing and solutions * Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to prospective clients Required Qualifications * 5 or more years of freight brokerage or logistics sales experience * Proven track record of closing new transportation business * Existing or immediately buildable book of business * Strong negotiation skills and hunter mentality * No non-compete or non-solicit restrictions * Ability to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications * Experience selling FTL, LTL, expedited, or air freight * Experience in independent agent or Landstar environments * Strong RFQ and RFP experience * Ability to operate independently in a remote role Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Work from home Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: * logistics sales: 5 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
