Our Chicago office sources and supplies homeware products to major US retailers, including kitchen, decor, pet, automotive, outdoor and garden products. The role is key to their success in supporting Account Managers to deliver great customer service and ensuring the on time delivery of products, while maintaining high quality standards. This role will suit a degree-qualified graduate or early-career professional who is keen to build a long-term career in retail supply chain, sourcing, and account management within a global business.Highly desirable backgrounds include: * Experience in production, manufacturing, or sourcing , particularly working with overseas suppliers or teams * Experience in buying, purchasing, or merchandising within a retail or wholesale environment * Exposure to logistics, order management, or production timelines in a fast-paced setting We are also open to graduate trainees with strong commercial awareness, excellent organisation skills, and a genuine interest in how products are developed, produced, and delivered to major retailers. The key responsibilities of the role are: * Providing admin support to our sales team, including processing orders, quotes, creating presentations, etc. * Supporting Account Managers to monitor production and trouble-shoot any issues that arise. * Delivering excellent customer service to buyer teams by maintaining regular communication, keeping them updated on orders and resolving problems. * Building relationships with suppliers and customers' support teams. * Tracking and analyzing sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth. * Data entry, file management and reporting as required. You will need to be able to demonstrate: * Relevant industry experience in production, sourcing, manufacturing, retail buying, logistics, or wholesale environments is highly desirable; however, strong graduates with relevant internships or exposure will also be considered. * A positive and proactive personal style. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Strong planning and organizing skills with great attention to detail. * Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. * A full driver's license is required Our people are talented and entrepreneurial with expertise in their chosen categories.
