About the Role MidAtlantic Moving and Storage is looking for a versatile, high-energy professional to join our Richmond, VA satellite operation. Your Responsibilities * Sales & Booking: Field incoming inquiries, provide accurate moving quotes, and book new moves for residential and commercial clients. * Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing schedules and providing excellent service from start to finish. * Onsite Estimates: Travel within the Richmond area to conduct in-home surveys, providing customers with precise estimates and expert advice. * Claims Management: Review and settle moving claims fairly and efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. * Social Media: Create engaging content for and help manage our social media channels to keep our brand active and connected with the Richmond community. * Marketing: Support our growth through outside marketing efforts and building local professional partnerships. * Operations Support: Provide administrative and clerical support to the Operations Manager to ensure daily logistics run smoothly. What We Are Looking For * Adaptability: You enjoy shifting between office tasks, customer meetings, and creative projects throughout the day. * Communication: You are a natural at building rapport, whether on the phone, via email, or in person at a customer's home. * Independence: You are a self-starter who can manage your own schedule and prioritize tasks effectively in a small office setting. * Creativity: You have an eye for social media content that highlights our team's hard work and local expertise. * Reliability: A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required for local travel to onsite estimates. Position Details & Benefits * Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40+ hours per week, rotating Saturdays, one to two per month * Pay: Hourly rate based on experience (Targeting $45,000 - $50,000 annually). * Benefits (Effective after 90 days): * Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual. * Company-paid Dental and Vision insurance. * Health insurance available (at employee expense). * Location: Richmond, VA (Local travel required).
