Full description of the position

Join the largest local media company in the Spokane area and utilize your skills to produce advertising revenue by selling products and services to area businesses. Maintain a current client base while working on new business development through in-field, face-to-face contact within a team environment to serve the customer, company, fellow employees, and self. Position: Senior Multimedia Sales Executive Status: Full-time, Exempt Hours: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm Location: On-Site M-Th with Flex Friday work from home available Base salary range: $40,720-$67,000 annually. OTE: ~$67,000 at 100% to goal. Commission: Tiered plan; paid monthly; 12% on above-goal sales. Primary responsibilities: Marketing Sales: Sell advertising space across multiple platforms, including digital (SEO, SEM, Email, Targeted Display, and Social Media), Print and Events. Identify potential clients, conduct needs analysis, and tailor advertising packages to meet client objectives. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process. Must maintain frequent contact with your clients to stay up to date on needs, results, and opportunities. Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seek new business opportunities by prospecting leads through cold calling, networking, and leveraging online platforms. This involves creating a pipeline of potential clients and following up to nurture these leads. Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Multi Media Sales Executives deliver tailored sales presentations to clients, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals. Must be able to effectively communicate the value of our media products and services. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, creative, and strategy teams to ensure flawless campaign execution and to analyze campaign performance, providing clients with insights and recommendations for future placements. What you'll contribute to our team: * Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent demonstrated work experience. Preferred concentration in advertising, or digital marketing * Two or more years active experience in advertising and/or digital marketing desired * Ability to perform in a cross functional, self-directed team environment * Ability to function under varying degrees of pressure * Ability to assume a leadership role with the customer and team * Must be a creative thinker and problem solver * Ability to meet with customers in the field, face to face and virtually * Regular attendance is a condition of employment * Excellent verbal and presentation skills * Intermediate level using Microsoft Office Products including Word for Windows, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Intermediate level using virtual meeting platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
