We're seeking an experienced and driven Small Business Commercial Lines Lead to oversee our Small Business Unit (SBU) in Sandy, UT. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the performance, health, and scalability of our small business commercial portfolio -- with a strong emphasis on retention, operational efficiency, and team development. Company Perks * 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision for employee-only plans * PTO and company-paid holidays * 401(k) plan with employer contribution * Opportunities for career growth and professional development within a nationwide network * Collaborative, high-energy work environment What You 'll Do as the Small Business Commercial Lines Lead * Lead, mentor, and develop the Small Business Account Management team to drive performance, engagement, and accountability * Ensure exceptional client service and maintain 90%+ retention across the Small Business portfolio * Build and manage strong carrier and market relationships to support competitive placement and underwriting success * Drive operational excellence through standardized workflows, service levels, and continuous process improvement * Partner with leadership to align SBU strategy with company growth, profitability, and scalability goals What We 're Looking For * 5+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a strong focus on small business accounts * 2+ years in a supervisory, team lead, or leadership role * Deep understanding of small business insurance products, underwriting, servicing, and renewal strategies * Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive retention and operational improvements * Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills * Active Property & Casualty license required Why ALKEME?
