Position: Landscape Sales Representative Location: Eugene, OR (field-based territory) Type: Full-time, hands-on, quota-carrying About Graham Landscape & Design We are creators of beautiful outdoor living spaces for residential, commercial, and public-sector clients throughout Oregon. As our Landscape Sales Representative, you 'll convert incoming interest--leads from our website inquiries, referrals, renewals, and public-sector/RFP responses--into closed, profitable projects by working tightly with our Design, Estimating, and Production staff. 1. Overview
- Qualify and close residential, commercial, and public-sector opportunities sourced from inbound channels
- Collaborate internally to turn inquiries into polished proposals and booked work
- Maintain pipeline and forecast accuracy in the CRM/call log system
- Cultivate long-term client relationships, uncover upsell/expansion potential
- Respond rapidly to incoming leads and coordinate site visits using a company vehicle 2.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Intake & Qualification: Quickly assess and prioritize inbound leads (web forms, referrals, existing accounts, public-sector/RFP responses); determine budget, timing, and fit
- Discovery & Site Assessment: Conduct timely site visits, document scope, budget, and client goals; surface additional needs (maintenance, upgrades)
- Proposal Development & Presentation: Partner with Design and Estimating to package scope, pricing, and value options; present proposals, handle objections, and close deals
- Pipeline & CRM Management: Log every interaction, keep deal stages updated, manage follow-ups, and ensure forecast reliability
- Account Growth: Nurture existing clients for repeat business and referrals; identify upsell opportunities
- Sales Metrics & Reporting: Hit KPIs (lead response time, close rate, average deal size, pipeline coverage) and deliver consistent updates to leadership
- Public-Sector Coordination: Coordinate RFP responses and compliance requirements with Estimating when those come in as inbound opportunities 3. Required Skills &
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in consultative sales --preferably in landscaping, hardscape, construction, or related services; public-sector experience strongly preferred
- Response-Oriented: Fast, disciplined follow-up on incoming inquiries; understands the value of timing in conversion
- Technical Fluency: Comfortable interpreting and learning basic landscape plans and translating them into client-facing proposals
- Communication & Closing: Clear, persuasive verbal and written skills with a demonstrated ability to overcome objections and close
- Organization: Excellent pipeline accuracy and multitasking across concurrent projects
- Relationship Building: Builds trust quickly; capable of expanding accounts and generating referrals
- Data Driven: Uses CRM data to prioritize, forecast, and adapt tactics based on performance 4. Tools & Software
- Aspire: Align on scope and pricing; understand estimate components to sell confidently
- QuickBooks: Basic familiarity to sync sales with job costing and financial expectations
- CRM / Call Log System: Primary system for tracking lead flow, activity, and forecasts
- Standard Productivity: Google suite and mobile tools for efficient field communication Resources Provided
- Company Vehicle: Truck/SUV supplied for client appointments with fuel card and covered maintenance. Requires valid driver 's license, clean driving record, and mileage logging per policy.
