At our Dallas Airport Location, we are in need of Full Time Sales Associates For LEGO and ToysRus Boutiques Position Objective The Senior Sales Associate may act as a key holder and is responsible for providing assistance to the management team in all aspects of operations including opening and closing the store on an as needed basis during absence of managers, demonstrating outstanding sales and customer service skills; generate sales, handle store housekeeping, loss prevention, merchandising, pricing, cash register operations (POS), adherence to Custom Regulations and all Company Policy/Store standards. The Sales Associate is held to the Fair and Accurate Transaction Act (FACT) for the protection of customer and other person information regarding receipts for debit and credit cards. Position Responsibilities 1. Ensure customers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, handling inquires and fielding complaints in a professional manner. 2. Assist customers in the sales function by identifying and fulfilling customer needs, up-sells and add-on purchasing. 3. As assigned, perform store opening and closing procedures, issuing associates' daily duties, informing managers of any associate issues or complaints 4. Provides a lead role on the sales floor by demonstrating outstanding sales skills, product knowledge information, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertisements. 5. Participate in meeting monthly store incentives as defined 6. Accurately and efficiently perform POS functions and adhere to Cash Protection policy 7. Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving, inventory and monitoring floor stock 8. Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and light store housekeeping 9. Contributes to team effort by training and guiding of new hire sales associates as needed 10. All other duties as assigned Essential Requirements 1. Regular and reliable attendance. Flexibility and ability to work varied hours/days as business needs dictates. 2. Ability to speak comprehensibly and hear effectively with customers, vendors and/or associates of the organization. 3. Ability to read efficiently, perform basic mathematical functions (count, add, subtract, divide & multiply) and write to accurately complete work related documentation. 4. Comprehension of cash handling (denominations of monies to make change) 5. Vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 6. Physical demands include frequently standing for long periods of time; walking; ability to reach above or below shoulders, twist at the waist, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, climb and balance. 7. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds. 8. Ability to operate electronic equipment (P.O.S., Credit Card Verification etc.) and use equipment (manual) such as ladder, step stool, objects with wheels, spray bottles and other cleaning equipment necessary to perform job function. Knowledge Skills and Abilities 1. No experience necessary, preferable experience in a retail customer service environment 2. High School Graduate, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience of more than one year in a sales position 3. Ability to work well under pressure and time restraints 4.
