Business Development Specialist - Territory Sales Territory: Midwest Position Requirement: Candidates must live within commuting distance of our Kennesaw, GA corporate office. Reports directly to: Business Development Manager, Green Channel Lumien Lighting is a fast-growing landscape lighting manufacturer based in Kennesaw, GA. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in expanding our reach and shaping the future of our brand. Summary of Position As a Business Development Specialist (BDS), you'll drive sales growth in your assigned territory by developing distributor relationships, supporting contractors, and executing sales strategies. You'll be the key link between Lumien Lighting and our partners, ensuring continued growth and market presence. Territory Your assigned territory will include: Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota Responsibilities (includes, but are not limited to) - Drive revenue growth by consistently exceeding monthly sales goals - Collaborate with the executive team to shape region-specific strategies - Deliver engaging product training sessions to distributors and contractors - Represent Lumien Lighting at industry events and trade shows - Partner with marketing to create impactful, localized campaigns Required Qualifications - 3+ years of landscape lighting/green industry sales experience or a comparable sales market - Proven sales skills with the ability to confidently present to groups of all sizes - Strong positive attitude and effective communication skills - Excellent time management and follow-up skills - Ability to travel in the assigned territory Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with distributors or channel sales - Knowledge of landscape lighting, electrical, or outdoor design products - Existing network within the green industry (contractors, distributors, or designers) - Demonstrated success in developing new territories or markets About Our Benefits Lumien Lighting is committed to providing an exciting team-oriented work environment. - Competitive compensation package (base salary + commission + quarterly bonuses) - Generous PTO Policy - Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits - 401K + Employer Match - Lumien Lighting Employee Training - And more--including a supportive team culture, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth We 're excited to hear from motivated candidates who are ready to grow with Lumien Lighting.
