Gold Medal Products Co., the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of popcorn and "fun food" concession equipment and supplies, has an immediate need for Area Sales Manager for the Kansas City, Missouri territory. This is a great opportunity for a sales leader who can demonstrate professional accomplishments. Responsible for selling and supporting stadiums, arenas and other venues in assigned territory by securing equipment sales and after-market product sales. * Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn a wide variety of product lines and customers, while delivering quality work are key attributes in a candidate. * Strong interpersonal skills. * Ability to communicate professionally, effectively, and efficiently. * Fluency in second language is a plus but not required. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree * Prior use of Salesforce or other comparable CRM * Demonstrate an understanding and ability to prospect through cold calls, market research and networking. * Demonstrate ability to follow up on company generated leads.
