Responsibilities * Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community events, networking, and telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and build rapport. * Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify clients' insurance requirements and recommend suitable policies. * Negotiate terms and coverage options with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and optimal solutions. * Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, maintaining accurate records, and following up on policy inquiries. * Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that attract new customers and retain existing ones through targeted outreach. * Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining policy details clearly, and guiding clients through the purchasing process. * Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory requirements including HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance when applicable. * Utilize analysis skills to evaluate market data, identify sales opportunities, and adapt strategies for maximum effectiveness. * Support benefits administration activities related to insurance plans offered to clients or employees when necessary. * Communicate effectively in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus) to serve diverse communities. Qualifications * Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. * Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication skills to articulate complex information clearly. * Ability to perform detailed analysis of client needs and market data to craft compelling proposals. * Experience in telemarketing or marketing campaigns is advantageous for lead generation efforts. * Knowledge of sales administration processes including documentation, follow-up procedures, and CRM systems. * Multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases; bilingual proficiency is a plus. * Demonstrated customer service excellence with a focus on building trust and long-term relationships. * Familiarity with benefits administration processes related to insurance products is beneficial. * Understanding of HIPAA regulations ensures compliance when handling sensitive health information.
