Job Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the hotel's sales efforts to maximize revenue across all market segments, including corporate, group, leisure, and local negotiated business. This role is crucial in positioning the Holiday Inn brand locally and building lasting client relationships that drive consistent business to the property. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets * Actively prospect, qualify, and close group and corporate business * Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel planners, and local businesses * Conduct sales calls, site tours, and attend networking events to promote the hotel * Collaborate with the General Manager and Revenue Manager on pricing strategies and forecasting * Oversee the preparation of sales reports and revenue tracking * Represent the hotel in community and industry events to enhance its visibility and reputation * Supervise or support the sales team (if applicable), including training, mentoring, and goal setting * Ensure all sales activities align with IHG brand standards and company policies Qualifications: * Minimum 3-5 years of hotel sales experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role * Strong understanding of the Holiday Inn or IHG brand is a plus * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills * Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, Delphi, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to travel locally for client meetings and events Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $71,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Health insurance * Paid time off Experience: * Hotel Sales: 3 years (Required) Ability to Commute: * Rancho Cordova, CA 95742 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
