Full description of the position

Job description: Pinnacle Pro Logistics is an over the road third-party logistics company that services the United States and Canada. We pride ourselves on the strong relationships we've built with our diverse network of carriers from all over the nation. Those carriers then allow us to provide a variety of service and equipment options along with our premier customer service to our customers. Our sales managers and staff work closely together to ensure the goods get delivered safely and on time, while offering the best customer service in the industry. Whether you have worked in transportation before or are brand new to the industry, we will train you and give you the tools needed to flourish. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling PPL's services to drive new business. We offer a base salary + commission on your successes. Daily job functions of an Executive Sales Manager: * Identifying and prospecting targeted leads across multiple industry verticals * Daily outbound calls to qualify leads and build relationships * Maintain and cultivate strong sales pipeline * Follow up calls and custom sales emails to close new accounts * Farming contacts within existing large customers and offices * Travel to network at key industry events and trade shows * Internal communication during customer transitions * Understanding of industry trends and selling the PPL core competencies What we look for in an Executive Sales Manager: * 2 years of sales experience required * Bachelor's degree preferred * Experience using a TMS or CRM preferred * A self-starter or established sales veteran ready to find and close new shipping partnerships * Efficient time management skills with the ability to allot the proper amount of time to each task * Strong communication skills with the ability to follow up in a timely manner * Problem solving skills and critical thinking to find solutions for customers * Competitive nature with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment * Outstanding sales skills and high energy * Consistently hit or exceed monthly sales quotas * MS office proficiency and the ability to type at least 50 WPM Things that set Pinnacle apart: * Hands on training from industry experienced sales leaders * Established reputation for best in class customer service * Company funded happy hours. * Bimonthly company events (holidays, local, etc) * Casual office dress everyday * Internal promotions available for those who standout with their performance Benefits we offer: * $65,000-70,0000 base salary + uncapped bonus/residual commission * Health, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, 401k * 10 PTO days * 7 paid holidays Training and Onboarding Here at Pinnacle Pro, we understand the concept that time is money, so we have designed our training to be the most efficient and practical as possible. We get you up to speed with the industry jargon, equipment, and processes with hands-on-training and shadowing with our wonderful team members. The first week of training is more lecture style learning, but since we have found that people learn best by doing - the remainder of the training month is much more learning by trial and error with the guidance of our GMs and leadership.
