About us Grower Direct Supply is a leading supplier of horticultural containers, serving commercial growers, distributors, and retailers across North America. As part of our continued growth, we are expanding into decorative planters , including ceramic, glass, wicker, and other mixed-material containers , to better serve our customers' evolving needs. We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in decorative containers to help grow and manage strategic customer relationships. Position Summary The Key Account Manager - Decorative Planters will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key accounts, driving sales growth in decorative container categories, and acting as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and supply partners. This role requires deep industry knowledge, strong commercial instincts, and the ability to translate design trends into successful product offerings. Key Responsibilities * Manage and grow assigned key accounts within the decorative planter category * Develop and execute account strategies to increase sales, margins, and product penetration * Identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers * Work closely with customers on product selection, pricing, programs, and forecasts * Collaborate with sourcing, product development, logistics, and marketing teams * Provide market feedback on design trends, materials, pricing, and competitive activity * Support new product launches and seasonal programs * Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and performance reports * Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events as required Qualifications & Experience * 3+ years of B2B sales experience with measurable results * Proven ability to grow accounts, close deals, and hit targets * Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills * High level of personal accountability and discipline * Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment * Willingness to travel and actively engage customers Preferred Qualifications * Existing relationships within the horticulture, garden, or home decor industries * Familiarity with big-box, independent garden center, or grower-direct sales channels Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: From $55,000.00 per year Benefits: * Health insurance * Paid time off Experience: * decorative planters, and home/garden categories: 3 years (Required) * B2B sales: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
