Position Summary: The Business Development Rep is responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and supporting the Regional Business Development Manager in executing regional growth strategies. This role is ideal for someone motivated by sales, relationship-building, and learning the end-to-end business development process in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: * Identify, research, and qualify leads in the assigned territory. * Conduct outreach to prospective customers via phone, email, and in-person visits. * Support the Regional Business Development Manager in sales presentations, proposals, and product demos. * Maintain accurate CRM records and track activity. * Assist with market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights. * Attend trade shows and industry events as needed. * Provide timely reporting on progress toward lead generation and sales objectives. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred. * 2-4 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles; manufacturing / industrial experience preferred. * Excellent communication, follow-up, and organizational skills. * Self-starter, highly motivated, and comfortable working remotely. * Willingness to travel within assigned region. Work Environment: This is a remote-based position requiring a high degree of independence, organization, and communication. The Business Development Rep will work primarily from a home office and travel regularly to visit customers, attend trade shows, and support company initiatives within the assigned region. The role involves frequent collaboration with internal teams including sales, marketing, and operations through virtual meetings and digital communication tools. Occasional visits to company headquarters may be required for training, strategy sessions, or product launches.
