Cortese Energy is a residential & commercial solar installer servicing Illinois, Connecticut, and New York. Cortese is offer We are seeking a skilled Sales Expert to join our team. This is a full-time role, located in Chicagoland with flexibility for some remote work. The Sales Expert will lead our business development efforts and will be responsible for identifying and engaging key accounts, building long-term relationships, showcasing our unique value proposition and driving growth opportunities. The Sales Expert will collaborate with internal teams to create strategic plans, proposals, and presentations and will be responsible for tracking and reporting on sales metrics. We use several installing and financing partners, offering the best deal for the customer and experience for the sales rep. This is a 1099 position, with uncapped commission, and we will provide scheduled appointments for high performing sales experts. Qualifications * Minimum of 1 years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of success * Must have have a car, and willing to drive to appointments in metro Chicago * Self starter that can perform with minimal supervision * Must be available for evenings and Saturdays, if necessary * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams at all levels * Positive attitude and strong work ethic * Coachable and self-motivated * Capable of working well under pressure and meeting or exceeding sales goals as well as building strong client relationships * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Ideal Candidate will have this background. * Manage projects from sale to construction * Familiarity with renewable energy industry is preferred * Home security sales * Energy Sales * Satellite or Cable TV * Pest Control * Home Atomization and/or Smart home * Direct sales * Those with lead generation and/or sales management experience * Door to Door Sales * Spanish speaking is a plus.
