Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial & Municipal Sales Representative to secure paving contracts with property managers, general contractors and municipal agencies. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and expanding our presence within the municipal and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in outside sales to drive growth and foster long-term client relationships. A strong background in sales management, negotiation, and customer service is essential to succeed in this position. Responsibilities * Identify and pursue commercial & municipal paving projects Requirements: * Sales experience in paving, construction, or civil work preferred * Knowledge of municipal bidding processes a plus * Strong communication and organizational skills * Ability to read plans/specs helpful * Valid driver's license We Offer: * Competitive base + commission * Company vehicle or allowance (if applicable) * Phone, laptop/tablet provided * Long-term growth opportunity * Review RFPs/RFQs and attend pre-bid meetings * Perform site visits and assist with estimates * Prepare, submit, and follow up on bids * Build and maintain client and municipal relationships * Coordinate project handoff with operations Experience * Proven success in outside sales or technical sales within the construction or paving industry preferred. * Demonstrated experience in territory management, lead generation, and account management. * Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication and customer service abilities. * Ability to conduct product demonstrations effectively and handle complex technical discussions. * Experience in marketing strategies related to business development and upselling techniques. * Knowledge of the paving industry or construction materials is a plus.
