Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business through outside sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and relationship building. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment while earning competitive compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients in the construction, hospitality, and light industrial industries through cold calling, networking, and research.
• Sales Presentations: Present our staffing services to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of partnering with our company.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their staffing needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Contract Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet business targets.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position our services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the recruiting team to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact through placement.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in outside sales is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Work Ethic: Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility: Must be willing to attend after-hours networking events and take calls from clients during nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Personal Traits: Must possess excellent people skills and a go-getter attitude. A proactive approach to sales and the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients are essential for success in this role.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $40,000 per year
