We specialize in comprehensive financial planning, tax strategies, and superior client service. As our firm continues to grow quickly, we are strengthening our leadership structure to support increased lead flow, higher client volume, and expanding markets. We are seeking a strong, experienced Business Development Manager with a financial services background and proven success leading both remote and in- person teams. Position Overview The Business Development Manager is responsible for managing, coaching, and developing Falcon's Business Development team. This leader oversees BD performance, improves processes, enhances conversion metrics, and ensures a world-class experience for prospective clients. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of financial services experience, business development or sales leadership experience, and a demonstrated ability to lead employees in multiple environments--onsite and remote--while partnering closely with senior executives and advisory leadership. What You 'll Do: Leadership & Team Development * Lead and manage Business Development Associates across both remote and in-office settings. * Conduct weekly 1:1s, performance coaching, and accountability reviews. * Set clear expectations, KPIs, and team standards, ensuring consistency across locations. * Provide training on financial terminology, effective communication, lead qualification, and Falcon processes. * Foster a positive, high-performance team culture aligned with Falcon's mission and values. Business Development & Sales Operations * Oversee inbound and outbound lead flow, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate CRM documentation. * Monitor real-time performance metrics including call activity, appointment setting, and conversion rates. * Improve scripts, communication standards, workflows, and best practices. * Support Advisors with escalated, complex, or high-value leads to improve closing outcomes. Strategic & Operational Optimization * Analyze Salesforce/CRM data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities. * Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency across the BD pipeline. * Ensure compliance with firm policies, documentation standards, and fiduciary requirements. * Work closely with HR on hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management. Executive & Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner directly with Executive Leadership, including CEO, COO, Advisory Leadership, and department heads. * Work with Marketing to align lead quality, campaign strategy, and messaging. * Collaborate with Operations to improve the end-to-end client experience. * Present performance data, insights, and recommendations to leadership. What We 're Looking For: Required * 3-5 years of financial services experience (RIA, wealth management, banking, insurance). * 3+ years of business development or sales management experience. * Proven success managing remote and in-person teams. * Strong coaching and leadership skills with experience in a performance-driven environment. * Ability to manage KPIs, hold team members accountable, and lead through growth. * Excellent communication skills--professional, clear, and confident. * CRM proficiency (Salesforce strongly preferred). * Experience collaborating with executives or senior leadership. Preferred * Prior experience in a fast-growing or high-volume financial services firm. * Strong understanding of financial planning concepts and fiduciary service standards. * Data-driven decision-making and strong problem-solving skills.
