Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
• Maintain an organized and clean showroom floor.
• Able to move furniture around and staging of the showroom (up to 40lbs).
• Sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable items.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve showroom goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
• Upsell additional products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the store.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or furniture store environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Can assemble furniture (not required).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus.
• Familiarity with computers and POS systems.
