Job

Responsibilities

• Responsible for promoting sales of HVAC and appliance equipment, parts and supplies.
• Establish and maintain good relations with customers (including walk-in and telephone calls).
• Effectively communicate features and benefits of all products and actively promote merchandise.
• Follow and adhere to all safety, health, security and environmental standards.
• Restocking of shelves and assist in unloading products with the ability to operate a forklift; may require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Answer telephones promptly and courteously identifying yourself and the company.
• Use computer to do invoicing, credits, returns, etc.
• Load and unload company, customer and outside carrier vehicles using proper equipment.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment inside and out.
• Manage inventory by organizing and storing products in the warehouse
• Load and unload materials from trucks.
• Package items for shipment or delivery.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move goods within the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills; good computer skills required.
• No criminal history
• Fluent in English (REQUIRED) and Spanish (REQUIRED).
• Experience in HVAC sales, counter sales or other pertinent industry sales experience (PREFERRED).
• Skilled in operating forklifts and pallet jacks

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior forklift certification (REQUIRED)
