What You'll Do: The Retail Training Specialist (RTS) plays an important role in the performance of the Kingsdown Sales organization by improving Kingsdown's balance of share on the sales floor through product knowledge education of the Retail Sales Associate, maintenance of Kingsdown product displays, and day-to- day schedule and interactions within Kingsdown's retail customers. This position focuses (but does not limit) travel to the specific regions trade areas with a concentration on existing Kingsdown retail partners. (All travel expenses are reimbursed by Kingsdown). In addition, the Retail Training Specialist will: * Follow planned route to visit assigned retail store locations once a month. * Work in partnership with Information Technology and Diagnostic Support group to troubleshoot, repair and ensure proper operation and training of BedMatch or other Kingsdown diagnostic systems. * Ensure all assigned customers display appropriate products in a manner and position that supports Kingsdown's brand and sales growth strategies and in accordance with the corporately agreed standards and metrics. * Direct consumer selling on retail floor by effectively presenting the features and benefits of our brand during the retail sales process and by being present on the retail floor during special events, weekends and holidays. * Where applicable in assigned customers, RTS will manage BedMatch or other Kingsdown diagnostic systems by updating store RSA and certain product information in the system. * Where applicable in assigned customers, RTS will utilize BedMatch or other Kingsdown diagnostic systems reports and data to motivate RSA usage of the Diagnostic System. * Attend various trade shows and sales meetings, as required. * Participate in sales trainings and calls as scheduled. * Prepare and submit weekly reports (Google Docs) on developments within the territory and funnel progress. * Position reports directly to Sales & Business Development Manager What You'll Bring: * 2-year college degree or greater, preferred but not required. * 1-2 years sales experience preferred but not required. * Reliable transportation and clean driving record * Credit Card in your name. * Ability to be in field for local or extended travel as needed to effectively perform job duties. * The ability to work efficiently alone as well as in groups is required. * Good communication skills - Verbal, non-verbal, and active listening * Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Docs) * Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance * Work schedule: Tuesday - Saturday. Holiday weekends may be required. * At manager's discretion, flexible schedule that will accommodate working weekends, holidays and occasional overnight travel.
