Website [please apply online] Job Overview: We are seeking an individual with in-depth knowledge in direct mail optimization. The successful candidate will focus on leveraging data, strategy, and technology to make physical mail campaigns more effective. Responsibilities include list segmentation, postal optimization (commingling, drop shipping), performance analysis, testing (creative, targeting), and coordinating print/production to improve ROI and customer engagement. This role requires strong analytical skills in data management, marketing automation, and industry knowledge to drive business growth. Key Skills & Focus Areas: * Postal Optimization: Proven results reducing costs and improving delivery through techniques like commingling, co-palletization, and drop shipping. Ability to provide deep expertise on postal optimization, data hygiene, and mailability for sales teams and clients. * USPS Compliance & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of USPS regulations, mailer best practices, and trends. Experience with automation/workshare discounts. Expertise in EDDM, bulk mail, permit indicia, and mail piece design for optimal postage rates. * Route & Carrier Optimization: Experience with preparing mail for dense, efficient delivery. * Data & Targeting: Proven ability to use census data (EDDM) or build targeted lists to reach specific demographics. * Technology: Experienced working with data processing software, variable data printing (VDP) tools, and marketing automation platforms. Skilled at processing, cleaning and personalizing mailing lists. * Integration: Combine direct mail with digital efforts (like Informed Delivery) for omnichannel campaigns.
