Job Title: Construction Scheduler and Office Assistant Job Summary: Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in coordinating and managing construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities and Duties: Develop, implement, and maintain project scheduling systems. Coordinate project timelines with subcontractors. Maintain project schedules at least one week in advance. Analyze project timelines and identify areas for improvement in efficiency. Accurately log all new job information into the company database daily. Generate and distribute project reports, including Project Schedule Summaries and Sold Not Dug reports. Serve as a key point of contact for customers and project staff to schedule work and coordinate assignments. Create and develop project schedules based on project types. Collaborate with the sales team and project managers to track and manage deviations from the original plan. Provide regular updates to the short-term schedule in collaboration with job superintendents/managers. Communicate effectively with customers, managers, operations leaders, and the financial controller. * Timely filing of permits Qualifications and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 2+ years of experience in a scheduling or office administration role, preferably in the construction industry. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. Customer service experience preferred.
