East Coast Yacht Sales (ECYS) is looking for an experienced marine technician to help in the commissioning, handover and after sales service of our new boat brands. This candidate should have 3-5 years of hands-on experience working, troubleshooting and servicing our customers who have purchased new boats. The primary brands this candidate will be working on are Axopar, Sirena Yachts, Targa boats and J/boats. This position will require someone thats a skilled boat handler as well as technician, all to help ensure our customers have an excellent experience taking delivery of their new boat and give them support after delivery. While this position is based in Mystic, CT, there will be regular travel via supplied service vehicle to customers boats. Responsibilities include: -Maintaining inventory owned by ECYS in the general area -Commissioning new boats -Prepping new boats for owner to take delivery -Traveling to customer boats for after sales warranty and servicing responsibilities -helping set up for boat shows in CT and RI -transporting boats via land or water when necessary Skills required include: -Technical knowledge of general marine systems -Strong DC/AC electrical knowledge -Strong troubleshooting skills -knowledge on how to maintain yachts -boat handling -driving a boat trailer -experience delivering boats -communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits: * Health insurance * Health savings account * Paid time off Ability to Relocate: * Mystic, CT: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: On the road
