MOTORCYCLE ASSISTANT SALES [please apply online] HARLEY-DAVIDSON American Road Group is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Sales Manager at Laconia Harley-Davidson in Meredith, New Hampshire! This dual role requires a strong ability to manage both sales targets and financial goals, ensuring customers receive both a great purchase experience and financing options that meet their needs. The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets, mentoring sales staff, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. This individual will play a key role in driving motorcycle sales, developing customer relationships, and maintaining the dealership's reputation as a leader in the Harley-Davidson community. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Leadership & Performance: * Assist in managing daily sales operations, ensuring a seamless and efficient process. * Drive motorcycle, accessory, and extended warranty sales while meeting dealership targets. * Support, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance. * Work closely with the Sales Manager to implement strategies that boost revenue and customer engagement. * Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. Customer Experience & Engagement: * Deliver an exceptional Harley-Davidson customer experience, focusing on relationship-building and brand loyalty. * Ensure the sales team provides top-tier service and maintains a customer-first mindset. * Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues professionally. * Engage with customers at dealership events, rides, and community activities. Team Development & Training: * Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new sales team members. * Conduct coaching sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge. * Lead by example with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a passion for the Harley-Davidson brand. Inventory & Dealership Operations: * Assist in managing motorcycle inventory, ensuring proper stocking and display. * Work with the sales team to coordinate motorcycle deliveries and financing options. * Collaborate with the service and parts departments to enhance cross-departmental sales. * Maintain compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines. Qualifications & Skills: * Passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and the riding community. * 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the powersports, automotive, or motorcycle industry. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team. * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing a world-class experience. * Knowledge of Harley-Davidson models, features, and financing options is a plus. * Ability to work weekends and dealership events as needed.
