Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Counter Person to join our Parts Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive parts sales, a strong understanding of vehicle systems, and the ability to deliver a premium customer experience to both retail and internal (service/repair) customers. Responsibilities: * Assist customers and technicians in identifying and locating the correct BMW parts and accessories * Process parts orders, returns, and special requests efficiently and accurately * Maintain proper stock levels and assist with inventory control * Support the Service Department with timely parts delivery and communication * Handle phone inquiries and online orders professionally * Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment * Stay current with BMW parts catalogs, bulletins, and promotions Qualifications: * Prior experience as an automotive parts counterperson (BMW or European brand experience preferred) * Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts terminology * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Proficiency with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar) * Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Valid driver's license and clean driving record Benefits: * Competitive pay based on experience * Health, dental, and vision insurance * 401(k) * Paid time off and holidays * Employee discounts on parts and services Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Experience: * Automotive Parts: 2 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Huntington Station, NY 11746: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
