Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and self-driven Independent Sales Representative to join our growing team at Gill. This role offers the opportunity to represent a high-quality, globally recognized technical apparel brand. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor lifestyle and life on the water, whether boating or fishing, a proven sales track record, and a strong network in the Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina markets. Key Responsibilities * Sales & Business Development: Actively generate new business by prospecting retail accounts, wholesalers, and other distribution partners across Florida, South Carolina, and North Carolina. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients. * Product Representation: Professionally present Gill's product line, ensuring clients understand its features, benefits, and performance-driven design. * Sales Strategy & Execution: Create and implement territory-specific strategies aligned with market trends and customer needs. Meet and exceed sales goals. * Market Research & Feedback: Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer preferences. Provide feedback to inform product development and marketing. * Sales Reporting & Communication: Maintain regular communication with Gill's internal teams. Submit detailed sales activity reports and performance updates. * Trade Shows & Events: Represent the Gill brand at regional and national trade shows, dealer meetings, and industry events. * Customer Service & Support: Deliver a best-in-class experience through ongoing support, quick issue resolution, and product knowledge. Qualifications * Experience: 2-3 years in apparel industry sales. Proven ability to grow accounts and exceed quotas. * Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts. * Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with outdoor, technical, or apparel markets. B2B/wholesale experience preferred. * Network: Established relationships within the industry in FL, SC, and NC are a significant advantage. * Travel: Willing and able to travel regularly within the assigned territory. * Technology: Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft office, and digital sales platforms. Compensation * Basic and Commission with high earning potential tied to sales performance * Bonuses and incentives for achieving or exceeding sales targets * Flexible remote work , with travel required for client meetings and events Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: * Cell phone reimbursement * Mileage reimbursement * Travel reimbursement Work Location: In person
