If you're excited by change, growth, and the opportunity to make a real impact, please keep reading! The Opportunity: We're seeking a Sales Manager to join our Leadership Team at Good Life Motors. We need a driven, hands-on leader who takes full ownership of the sales department's performance and results. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dealership environment, leads from the front, and understands how to balance people development, deal structure, and profitability. As Sales Manager, you will oversee the Sales Team, Finance Manager, Inventory Buyers and Internet Manager while acting as a key player in the Sales Department success. You'll be responsible for setting the pace, training the team, removing obstacles, desking deals, and ensuring every opportunity is maximized. Success in this role is measured by sales volume, team accountability, and an exceptional 5-star customer experience. Key Responsibilities: The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and holding the sales team accountable for daily performance, activity, and results. This role owns the success of the department by setting clear expectations, monitoring KPIs, and driving consistent improvement in closing ratios, volume, and profitability. The Sales Manager works closely with the Internet Manager to ensure timely lead follow-up, effective appointment setting, and strong communication between departments. This position serves as a backup to the Finance Manager, confidently stepping in to structure deals, present terms, and finalize transactions when needed. The Sales Manager desks deals daily, structuring competitive and compliant transactions that align with dealership goals while maintaining a transparent, customer-first approach. Real-time coaching on the sales floor is a core responsibility, helping team members improve their process, product knowledge, and negotiation skills. Additionally, the Sales Manager collaborates with dealership leadership to develop sales strategies, improve workflows, and increase overall sales volume, while maintaining accountability across the team. By leading with integrity, urgency, and clarity, the Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving growth, and long-term success at Good Life Motors. What Success Looks Like: * Team Development: Sales Consultants grow in skill, confidence, and professionalism under your leadership. * Recruiting: Lead the charge in building the best Sales Team Good Life Motors has had. * Implement a proven, repeatable sales process while building a high-performance sales culture through training, coaching, and accountability systems * Customer Experience: A 4.9+ star client satisfaction rating driven by trust and clarity. * Sales Growth: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals and owning the sales department scorecard. Qualifications * Proven track record of leading and coaching a team of high performers. * Experience as a Sales Manager, Desking Manager, or similar role in automotive retail. * Strong knowledge Sales processes, Desking and trade appraisals * Excellent communication, negotiation, and coaching skills. * Ability to thrive in a collaborative, EOS-driven structure. * Familiarity with DMS systems and lender portals preferred.
