The Account Management Trainee manages account lifecycles, coordinates campaigns, and builds expertise in client engagement and business development--all while laying the foundation for a successful career in account management. Core Functions of the Account Management Trainee * Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, building trust through timely updates, clear communication, and dependable service coordination. * Learn client goals and recommend AT&T service solutions or campaign strategies that align with their business needs and growth plans. * Oversee onboarding, service implementation, and follow-up to ensure smooth delivery and a positive client experience across all touchpoints. * Keep CRM systems up to date with detailed notes on client interactions, service milestones, and performance metrics to support visibility and retention. * Track account activity and feedback to identify upsell opportunities, reduce churn risk, and support long-term account growth. * Work cross-functionally with internal teams to troubleshoot service issues, streamline workflows, and deliver consistent, high-quality results. Education & Experience Needed for the Account Management Trainee * High school diploma or GED required; coursework in business, marketing, or communications supports client engagement and sales strategy. * Prior experience in sales, customer engagement, or client-facing roles--ideally within consulting, retail, or service-driven industries. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to listen actively, present solutions clearly, and build trust with diverse clients.
