Business Development Director - Staffing (Hunter Role) Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid / In-Market Preferred) Compensation: Base + Uncapped Commission OTE: $50000-$180,000+ About THUSA THUSA is a fast-growing staffing and executive placement firm serving medical, industrial, manufacturing, and skilled trades clients across Texas and multiple states. We focus on quality placements, compliance, and long-term client partnerships , not resume blasting. We are expanding and looking for a true Business Development Hunter to drive net-new client acquisition. About the Role This is a pure hunter role. You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and closing new client accounts , then handing off live accounts to our Account Management and Recruiting teams for fulfillment. If you enjoy cold outreach, discovery calls, negotiations, and closing deals -- this role is for you. If you prefer servicing existing accounts -- this is not the role. Key Responsibilities * Prospect and close new client accounts in: * Healthcare facilities * Industrial & manufacturing environments * Skilled trades & technical staffing * Conduct discovery calls and present staffing solutions * Negotiate pricing, margins, and contract terms * Launch new accounts and support first placements * Maintain a 30/60/90-day sales pipeline * Collaborate with operations to ensure clean onboarding What This Role Does NOT Do * Recruiting candidates * Filling shifts * Handling payroll or compliance * Managing accounts long-term Your job is to create demand -- we handle delivery. Compensation * Base Salary: $50000-$80000 * Commission: 5%-7% of Gross Profit on new accounts * Commission paid for 12 months per new account * Uncapped upside * Strong performers earn $150K+ What We 're Looking For * 5+ years of staffing sales experience (medical, industrial, or trades) * Proven hunter with a track record of closing net-new accounts * Comfortable selling GP-based pricing (not discounts) * Strong communication and negotiation skills * CRM/ATS experience preferred * Texas market knowledge a plus Why THUSA * Clear separation between sales, recruiting, and operations * No micromanagement -- performance-driven culture * Strong delivery team to support your deals * Opportunity to grow into senior leadership as the company scales Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: * Paid time off Work Location: Hybrid remote in Rockwall, TX 75087
