Position

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Events - Food & Beverage to drive revenue growth across multiple dining and event venues within a luxury hospitality environment. This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and events strategy, managing client relationships, and overseeing the successful planning and execution of high-quality events. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in luxury hotels, upscale restaurants, or large-scale F&B venues and thrives in a fast-paced, guest- focused setting while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive events and group sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives
  • Drive food & beverage and event revenue through proactive sales prospecting, networking, and relationship building
  • Achieve annual personal and departmental sales booking goals
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all event spaces, capacities, technical capabilities, and competitive offerings Client & Event Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients from initial inquiry through event execution
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and event documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Attend events as needed to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction
  • Evaluate all events post-delivery, including gathering and analyzing client feedback Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead, support, and develop the Sales & Events team to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery
  • Foster collaboration across departments including Culinary, Operations, Finance, Concierge, and Club teams
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives Marketing & Brand Alignment
  • Oversee the design and production of event marketing materials, promotions, and collateral
  • Create and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans for the events department
  • Ensure all events align with brand standards and deliver innovative, memorable guest experiences Financial Management & Reporting
  • Develop and manage event and project budgets from inception through completion
  • Budget and forecast food & beverage and room rental revenues (monthly, quarterly, annual, and future year projections)
  • Prepare monthly booking and sales performance reports
  • Analyze revenue performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimization Required Experience &
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or high-end food & beverage environment
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership or managerial role within a hotel or large venue setting
  • Strong background in event sales, group dining, and large-scale event execution
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills (English required; multilingual a plus)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cultural sensitivity and guest-centric mindset
  • Proficiency with systems such as Excel, Tripleseat, Peoplevine, SevenRooms, and Prismm
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform standing, bending, and lifting as required
