Summary This position is responsible for maintaining customer relations for current accounts, soliciting additional business with current customers, generating new leads for potential customers, and marketing for Summitt Trucking LLC, Summitt Logistics LLC, and Xtreme Transportation to grow the businesses and increase sales and profitability. Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand our customer base. * Prepare and present presentations to potential clients * Make sales calls and obtain contracts for new customers * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions. * Communicate issues along with propose solutions to maintain customers. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery for customers. * Utilize sales techniques to upsell additional services and maximize revenue. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions * Participate in annual meetings, trade shows and represent Summitt Trucking, LLC at designated events. Requirements * Proven experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients. * Demonstrated ability to sell products or services and achieve sales targets. * Excellent customer service skills to foster positive client relationships. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Strong attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner while recognizing opportunities for Summitt. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience preparing and presenting PowerPoint presentations to existing and potential customers. * Willingness to participate in training and continuing educational opportunities. * Excellent problem solving skills are required.
