Director, New Business Development - Aerospace Engineering Services Location: Remote (Eastern United States) | Work from Home MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED) * 8 -10+ years of business development or sales experience within engineering services , preferably aerospace and/or defense * Proven success selling engineering, design, or technology-driven services to Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers * Established relationships and active network within key aerospace accounts * Strong ability to open new accounts and grow existing client partnerships * Solid technical and commercial acumen , with the ability to position complex engineering solutions as business value * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA strongly preferred) * Willingness to travel domestically (Eastern U.S.) and internationally as needed Position Overview Our client is seeking a senior-level Director of New Business Development - Aerospace Engineering Services to drive strategic growth across its aerospace engineering services portfolio. This is a high-impact role for a results-driven business development leader with deep industry knowledge, strong technical credibility, and a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach. The Director will be responsible for generating new revenue, expanding key accounts, and positioning advanced aerospace engineering solutions with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. This role works closely with engineering, delivery, and executive leadership to ensure alignment between customer needs and technical capabilities. Key Responsibilities * Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within aerospace engineering services * Leverage and expand an existing network of Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to drive sustained revenue growth * Develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with aerospace engineering capabilities * Lead solution-based sales efforts , positioning services such as engineering design, analysis, digital engineering, and testing * Collaborate closely with engineering, delivery, and leadership teams to ensure technically sound and competitive solutions * Own the full sales lifecycle , including opportunity qualification, proposals, pricing strategy, negotiations, and contract closure * Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities Ideal Candidate Profile * Strategic, consultative business development leader with a strong aerospace background * Comfortable engaging at the executive and engineering leadership level * Self-motivated, highly organized, and effective in a remote work environment * Experienced in coordinating across global and cross-functional teams Location: Eastern United States (Remote / Work from Home)iLocatum Staffing
