What you will do As a Sales Representative at Filpac, you are responsible for identifying new customers, transitioning them to Filpac, and growing their business over time. This includes expanding volume, introducing premium products where appropriate, and serving as a knowledgeable, professional partner to your customers. You will work within a structured, process-driven sales environment and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customers are supported while Filpac's standards and processes are followed. Core Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the lube center market through prospecting, inbound leads, referrals, and territory-based outreach. * Bring new customers to Filpac and support successful onboarding and transition to Filpac products. * Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, managers, and operational leaders at customer locations. * Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate Filpac products and solutions. * Prepare and deliver quotes, follow up on opportunities, and manage the sales process from initial contact through close. * Own the overall health and growth of the assigned book of business, including identifying opportunities for increased volume, additional locations, and premium product adoption. * Support existing customers by partnering with Customer Service, which owns standard order processing, while stepping in when exceptions arise such as new store openings, expedited inventory needs, or non-standard requests. * Assist with customer changeovers, including transitioning existing inventory and POS items to Filpac inventory numbers, ensuring accuracy and minimal disruption. * Develop expert-level knowledge of Filpac's product catalog, including the ability to accurately match part numbers to vehicle makes and models. * Conduct customer training sessions, including manager-level training, on Filpac products and best practices. * Educate customers on how and why to sell premium products to improve adoption and results. * Represent Filpac at industry events, trade shows, and customer functions. * Advocate for customers and assist with escalations by gathering context, coordinating internally, and communicating clearly throughout the resolution process. * Maintain complete, accurate documentation of all customer interactions, activities, opportunities, and escalations in [please apply online] * Travel regularly within the assigned territory to visit customers, conduct training, support changeovers, and attend industry events. What Success Looks Like First 90 Days * Complete onboarding and product training, gaining a working understanding of Filpac's product catalog, part numbering system, and core customer use cases. * Learn Filpac's sales processes, changeover procedures, and internal workflows. * Become proficient in using Monday.com for CRM, including logging all customer interactions, maintaining accurate account notes, and tracking opportunities. * Shadow customer visits, changeovers, and training sessions. * Demonstrate consistent professionalism in all internal and external communications. First 6 to 12 Months * Develop expert-level knowledge of Filpac's product catalog and confidently speak to product features, differences, and use cases. * Accurately match Filpac part numbers to vehicle makes, models, and applications relevant to customer needs. * Independently manage a book of business with up-to-date, detailed customer records in [please apply online] * Consistently document all customer interactions, site visits, issues, and follow-ups in the CRM. * Monitor purchasing trends within the book of business and identify meaningful fluctuations. * Investigate and document the reasons behind changes in purchasing behavior through customer conversations and internal coordination. * Effectively support customer changeovers, new locations, and non-standard requests. * Build strong, trust-based customer relationships through reliability, preparation, and follow-through. * Represent Filpac professionally during customer visits and industry events. Adherence to Filpac's defined sales and communication processes. Recurring revenue performance Recurring revenue generated from the assigned book of business. Retention of existing customers and identification of appropriate expansion opportunities. Revenue performance evaluated in context of territory, customer mix, and market conditions. Account management and trend monitoring Active monitoring of customer purchasing patterns. Identification and investigation of fluctuations in volume or product mix. Sales owns prospecting, new customer acquisition, and growth of the assigned book of business. Customer Service owns standard order processing and day-to-day execution. Sales partners with Customer Service and internal teams when situations fall outside standard processes, including escalations, new locations, or expedited needs. Sales serves as a customer advocate while operating within Filpac's established processes and standards. Your Experience Experience in B2B sales or another professional, customer-facing role. Experience working with lube centers or similar service-based businesses is a plus.
