Drain Technician / Repipe Specialist (In-Home Sales) Pay: $70,000-$110,000 per year (Commission-Based) Location: Omaha Job Type: Full-Time * Turn Drain Calls into Real Solutions, and Real Income! American Rooter Plumbing is a locally owned, family-operated plumbing and drain cleaning company serving the Omaha and Council Bluffs metro areas. We're growing, and we're looking for a driven Drain Technician who knows how to diagnose problems, educate homeowners, and convert drain opportunities into repipe solutions. This is a field-based, customer-facing role for someone who understands plumbing systems, communicates confidently with homeowners, and wants to be rewarded for closing quality work the right way. Your focus is on solving the customer's problem completely, not just clearing the line, while delivering a high-quality customer experience every time. What You'll Be Responsible For * Run residential drain cleaning service calls * Diagnose root causes of drain and pipe failures * Educate homeowners on repair and repipe options * Convert qualified drain opportunities into repipe projects * Build trust through clear communication and honest recommendations * Document calls, photos, and notes accurately in ServiceTitan * Follow up on open opportunities and unsold estimates * Work closely with the office and operations team to ensure smooth job execution What We're Looking For * Experience in drain cleaning, plumbing, or in-home service sales * Strong customer communication and closing skills * Ability to identify system-level problems and recommend solutions * Comfortable working independently in customers' homes * Organized and disciplined with follow-up and documentation * Familiarity with ServiceTitan or a similar CRM is preferred * Valid driver's license and insurable driving record * Professional appearance and demeanor If you're ready to take your drain and plumbing experience to the next level and want a role where your skills directly impact your income, we'd like to hear from you.
