Join our team as a Basement Finishing Sales & Estimating Specialist, where your construction knowledge and sales drive help homeowners transform their basements into beautiful, functional spaces. This is a commission-only role designed for motivated individuals who understand residential construction well enough to scope plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and interior finish requirements--but do not need to be licensed tradespeople. You will meet with homeowners, evaluate project needs, prepare accurate estimates using our pricing framework, and close profitable contracts. If you are self-motivated, strong with people, and confident estimating residential work, this role offers unlimited earning potential with full autonomy. Responsibilities Engage with homeowners to understand their basement finishing goals. * Conduct in-person assessments to review layout, measurements, and required trade work. * Identify scope items such as framing, drywall, flooring, trim, lighting, outlets, minor plumbing changes, HVAC supply/return adjustments, and general finish work. * Prepare accurate price estimates based on our cost structure (training provided). * Present proposals clearly, answer questions, and close contracts. * Maintain competitive pricing while ensuring project profitability. * Provide clear handoff documentation to the production and trade partners after contract signing. * Follow up with prospects to maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities. * Manage your schedule independently and operate with high accountability. Qualifications Required: * Working knowledge of residential construction (plumbing, HVAC, electrical basics). * Ability to assess scope and translate project needs into realistic cost ranges. * Strong communication and client-facing sales skills. * Comfortable working in a commission-only , performance-driven environment. * Reliable vehicle for client visits. Preferred: * Experience in remodeling, roofing, restoration, or home improvement sales. * Prior commission sales experience with measurable results. * Ability to sketch simple layouts or interpret homeowner-provided drawings.
