Position Title: Retail Sales Associate Hours: Full-Time (32+ hours/week) Pay: Starting at $14+/hour + Bonuses (Est. $23,296/year depending on hours) Location: Suite Child - Baby & Children's Boutique Reports To: Store Manager * About Us At Suite Child, we make shopping joyful, easy, and inspiring for families. Since 2013, we've offered curated products for mamas, babies, and kids--with two charming Nebraska storefronts, an online shop, and a snack bar to keep little ones (and grown-ups!) happy while they browse. We're known for our exceptional service, product knowledge, and a shopping experience that feels more like a treat than a task. Whether it's a premium car seat, cozy pajamas, or a stuffed animal that becomes a forever friend-- Suite Child is where families find their favorites. * The Role We're looking for a kind, capable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our part-time team! If you love helping people, enjoy staying busy, and want to work in a joyful, family-focused environment--read on. We're especially looking for someone available to work 2-3 Fridays and 2-3 Saturdays per month during our core hours: 9:00am-5:15pm. (You don't need to be available every weekend, but consistency matters.) * How You'll Make an Impact You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive sales team--making parents' lives easier by helping them find the right gear, gifts, and baby essentials. You'll greet customers with warmth, answer questions with confidence, and keep our store looking its best. * Your Main Responsibilities * Greet every customer with a smile and sincere welcome * Learn our products and match them to customers' needs * Offer demos, solutions, and honest product advice * Promote specials, gift registries, and events * Maintain store cleanliness, displays, and merchandising * Process transactions and returns at the register * Receive inventory and restock with care * Collaborate with teammates to meet store goals * Contribute ideas to improve the customer experience You 're a Great Fit If You... * Are friendly, upbeat, and genuinely enjoy helping people * Have strong communication skills (bonus points for wit!) * Can stay on your feet and lift 35+ lbs with ease * Thrive in a team environment and enjoy working with kids around * Bring a positive, solution-oriented attitude--even on busy days Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Nice to Have): * Familiarity with baby + kids products * Experience in retail, sales, or customer service * Knowledge of visual merchandising or inventory management * eCommerce or POS system experience * Marketing or social media savvy Schedule & Availability * Minimum of 32 hours/week * Must be available to work 2-3 Fridays and 2-3 Saturdays per month, ideally from 9:00am-5:15pm * We offer flexible shifts where possible (e.g., 9am-1pm, 10am-3pm, or 1pm-5:15pm) * Additional shifts may be offered during events or peak seasons Pay & Benefits * Pay starts at $14+/hour depending on experience * Pay raise potential after 90 days * Team bonuses based on Suite Child's sales performance * Major holidays off (including Thanksgiving & Christmas) * Occasional bring-your-kid-to-work days (with pre-approval) * Employee discounts + snack bar access * Opportunities for growth, learning, and feedback * Clean, creative, and joy-filled workplace * Consistent daytime hours--rarely evenings or Sundays Ready to Join Our Suite Team?
