Position Summary: We are looking for an HVAC Sales Account Manager to join our team in Hartford, CT. As an Account Executive, you will be reporting to the Service Sales Manager and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and offering tailored maintenance solutions. The ideal candidate should have expertise in consultative sales, a deep knowledge of HVAC commercial services, and a track record of driving revenue growth. This role requires a motivated sales professional who can effectively communicate service offerings in-person and over the phone, customized to meet the needs of each client's mechanical and building systems. The main objective is to provide customers with reliable, cost-effective solutions while establishing long-term business relationships based on trust. Main Responsibilities: * Seek out and cultivate new business prospects within assigned markets through various means such as cold calling, networking, site visits, and industry events. * Generate and oversee leads with a focus on planned maintenance contracts and service solutions. * Collaborate with internal teams to identify business growth opportunities and provide support for sales initiatives. * Analyze customer requirements and recommend service options that align with their operational and financial targets. * Demonstrate value propositions effectively by delivering engaging presentations to potential clients. * Develop and review client proposals, ensuring accuracy in financial and technical details according to company pricing guidelines. * Meet sales objectives by expanding market share and upholding profitability within defined margin thresholds. * Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts. * Offer exceptional customer service pre-sale, during the sale, and post-sale to guarantee satisfaction and long-term loyalty. * Manage time efficiently by prioritizing tasks and balancing client interactions with administrative responsibilities. * Complete other duties as delegated by the Sales Manager. Requirements: * High School Diploma is required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. * At least 3 years of experience in the HVAC commercial service sector. * A minimum of 5 years of successful sales or technical field experience. * Proven ability to develop and close sales while fostering enduring client connections. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Self-driven, well-organized, and goal-oriented with the capacity to work autonomously. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM applications. * Adaptable to high-paced environments and capable of managing multiple priorities. * Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for client visits. Physical Requirements: * Regularly required to sit, see, talk, hear, walk, and use hands to operate office equipment. * Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be necessary. * Frequent movement within office, warehouse, and client field locations. Work Environment: * Primarily office-based role with frequent client site visits, including construction environments. * Some exposure to mechanical rooms, rooftop units, and active job sites may be expected.
