Position Overview The successful candidate will prospect, solution, price, and close Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Clinical Process Outsourcing (CPO) contracts with national healthcare players in multiple lines of businesses with focus on Clinical Processes. This can be a remote/hybrid role with travel to the Shearwater corporate headquarters and client sites. In the VP, Sales role, you will: * Prospect and close contracts with national and international companies across healthcare markets including Payers, Hospitals & Health Systems, and Life Sciences. * This includes, but is not limited to, prospect targeting, engagement, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and post-closing participation in ongoing account management and growth activities * Research and drive business expansion with relentless focus on growth opportunities. * Strong focus on pipeline growth through "hunting" * Collaborate with senior management and help develop the growth and market expansion plans * Prospect for new customer opportunities and identify services with potential to maximize market reach * Identify and validate new industry verticals and market opportunities for customer care * Build a predictable pipeline of new business to generate repeatable and profitable revenues * Execute go-to market plans via targeted campaigns and other sales channels including advisors, influencers, conference attendance, industry events, etc. * Develop targeted presentations for new customers desiring to learn more about Shearwater services * Work closely with RFP team to ensure high quality of proposals response and customer presentations * Submit and handle proposals with full ownership and accountability for the opportunity * End-to-end responsibility for designing and executing the strategic sales plan for securing new clients Qualification Requirements: * A minimum of 5 (five) years of Sales and/or Business Management in Healthcare domain * Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with knowledge of Clinical Processes * Through knowledge of sales cycle including sales stages, process and closure process * Highly motivated and competitive with strong initiative, prospecting, and sales closure ability * Track record of prospecting and closing new business with strong relationships with senior level execs. * Experience in business planning; account management and relationship management must * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products * Problem-solving ability and strong negotiating skills with Willingness to travel extensively Employee Benefits: * A competitive compensation structure * Comprehensive health insurance * 401(k) * Paid holidays * Paid vacation time * The opportunity to build your career in a rewarding and unforgettable way
