General Sales Manager - Used Cars Mike 's Used Cars | Flint, MI Mike's Used Cars, a trusted independent dealership serving the Flint area for over 21 years , is seeking an experienced, high-performing General Sales Manager to lead our used car sales operation. This role is designed for a proven GSM who can drive volume, gross, and team accountability while delivering a strong customer experience. Key Responsibilities * Lead, coach, and hold the sales team accountable to monthly and annual targets * Develop and execute effective used-vehicle sales strategies * Drive sales growth, profitability, and closing performance * Manage customer relationships to maximize CSI, repeat business, and referrals * Oversee inventory flow, pricing strategy, and lot merchandising * Train, mentor, and develop sales staff for consistent performance improvement * Analyze sales metrics to identify trends and growth opportunities * Partner with marketing on promotions, digital campaigns, and sales events * Ensure compliance with dealership policies and state/industry regulations Qualifications * 5+ years of automotive sales management experience (Used Car GSM preferred) * Proven track record of driving volume, gross profit, and team results * Strong leadership, coaching, and accountability skills * Advanced negotiation, desking, and deal-structuring abilities * Proficient with CRM and inventory management systems * Data-driven and strategic mindset * Bilingual a plus, not required * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred Compensation * Pay Range: $75,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience and performance Why Mike 's Used Cars * Established, independent dealership with strong community roots * True leadership role with autonomy and impact * Performance-based opportunity with room to grow Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Benefits: * Paid time off * Paid training Work Location: In person
