Vice President of Sales Company: Humble Brands Industry: Consumer Packaged Goods (Personal Care) Reports to: CEO Location: Flexible (U.S.) with regular travel Company Overview Humble Brands is a fast-growing personal care company built on the belief that simple, better ingredients, thoughtful design, and disciplined execution can create meaningful consumer brands. We are seeking a Vice President of Sales to join the Humble Brands Management Team and lead the company's sales strategy, execution, and customer partnerships across all channels. Position Summary The Vice President of Sales will own the end-to-end sales function for Humble Brands, serving as the senior commercial leader responsible for revenue growth, channel strategy, customer strategy, pricing and promotion, and sales execution. This role requires a seasoned CPG sales executive with deep omni- channel experience and a proven ability to scale brands across Natural, Conventional Grocery, Mass, Drug, and eCommerce. The VP of Sales will be both a strategic architect and a practical operator, capable of building plans, leading teams, and delivering results. As a member of the management team, this leader will actively contribute to overall business strategy, cross- functional alignment, and long-term enterprise value creation. Key Responsibilities *Sales & Revenue Leadership * Own and deliver company revenue targets across all channels. * Develop and execute annual and long-range sales plans aligned with company growth objectives. * Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue predictability. Omni-Channel Strategy & Execution * Build and continuously refine channel strategies across: * o Natural & Specialty * o Conventional Grocery * o Mass Merchants * o Drug * o eCommerce (Retail Customer .coms) * Determine where and how the brand wins by channel, including assortment, pricing, and promotional strategy. * Manage network of national and regional Brokers. * Balance distribution expansion with profitable growth. *Customer Strategy & Key Account Management * Serve as the executive owner for key national and strategic accounts. * Develop customer-specific strategies that drive mutual growth. * Lead negotiations on pricing, trade, promotions, and terms. * Build strong, trusted relationships with retail partners. *Pricing, Promotion & Trade Strategy * Own pricing architecture and promotional strategy across channels. * Partner with Finance and Marketing to ensure trade spend effectiveness and ROI. * Establish disciplined promotion planning and post-event analysis. *Team Leadership & Capability Building * Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales organization. * Establish clear roles, accountability, and performance expectations. * Coach and mentor leaders to scale with the business. * Exhibit Daring Leadership aligned with Humble's Core Values of Humility, Courage, Collaboration, Curiosity and Grit. Cross-Functional Leadership * Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product Development. * Ensure alignment between sales plans, demand planning, and supply chain execution. * Full ownership of sales forecasting and reporting, including syndicated data. * Contribute actively to management team discussions and strategic decisions. *Operating Rhythm & Discipline * Lead the Sales function within an EOS framework: * o Establish clear priorities (Rocks) * o Track key sales metrics and Scorecards * o Identify and solve issues proactively * Drive data-based decision making and continuous improvement. *Qualifications & Experience Required Experience * 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience within CPG. * Prior experience leading sales for a branded consumer product, preferably in personal care, beauty, or wellness. * Demonstrated success managing omni-channel sales across Natural, Conventional, Mass, Drug, and eCommerce. * Experience owning national accounts and leading complex customer negotiations. * Proven ability to scale revenue while improving profitability.
