About Almost Friday Media Almost Friday Media is a rapidly growing digital media company building comedy-forward content brands across social, podcasts, YouTube, live events, and newsletters. Role Overview We're looking for a seasoned Partnership Sales Manager to drive high- impact partnerships with leading brands and marketing agencies. In this role, you'll be responsible for generating new business, managing a portfolio of key accounts, and delivering innovative, performance-driven media solutions that align with client objectives. You'll work directly with brands and agencies to create integrated campaigns across Almost Friday Media's ecosystem, leveraging our massive social reach, original content, and event experiences. This role requires proven success in media sales, deep industry relationships, and the ability to navigate both the brand-direct and agency landscapes with confidence. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals. * Prospect, pitch, and close new business across priority verticals, including Auto, CPG, Finance, and more. * Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at brands and agencies. * Craft custom media solutions leveraging social, influencer, podcast, YouTube, and live event assets. * Collaborate with internal creative, account management, and ad ops teams to deliver exceptional client results. * Stay ahead of media trends, platform updates, and cultural moments to bring proactive ideas to market. * Represent Almost Friday Media at industry events, networking functions, and client entertainment opportunities. * Assist in on-site planning, strategy, and execution surrounding branded event and tentpole moments What We 're Looking For * 3-5 years of experience in media sales, brand partnerships, or agency account leadership. * A track record of consistently exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment. * Established network of brand and agency contacts. * Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing, and branded content. * Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. * Self-motivated, resourceful, and thrives in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment. * Comfortable managing full-cycle sales: prospecting, pitching, closing, and renewals. * Ability to travel for specific branded events, sales meetings, agency introductions, etc. * Based in NYC or Chicago preferred. Can be remote.
