Full description of the position

Job Purpose The Sales Account Manager is responsible for planning and executing sales activities to maintain and expand the sales of refrigeration and air conditioning components. This role manages assigned accounts, develops new business opportunities, and provides support to the sales team in achieving overall sales objectives. Key Responsibilities * Maintain and develop a database of existing and prospective customers. * Respond promptly to sales inquiries via email, phone, web meetings, and in-person visits. * Strengthen and expand customer relationships through consistent account management and coordination with internal order processing teams. * Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for customers seeking to broaden their product portfolio. * Monitor and report sales activities, market trends, and competitor information to management. * Track and report monthly sales results to upper management. * Prepare annual budgets and forecasts for assigned accounts. Qualifications and Skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, colleagues, and customers. * Solid understanding of business finance concepts, including profit/loss analysis and gross margin calculations. * Ability to prepare professional business quotations and proposals. * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. * Self-motivated, results-driven, and focused on delivering high-quality work and measurable business results. * Comfortable working both independently and within a small team environment. Job Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred; an associate degree with relevant experience will be considered. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and/or account management within the HVAC, refrigeration, or a closely related industry. * Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and achieving sales targets. * Working knowledge of refrigeration and/or air conditioning systems. * Willingness to travel up to 25%. * Ability to communicate effectively with Japan-based factories and engineering teams.
