Job
Overview
We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to generate new business within commercial new-construction projects (typically $1M-$1.5M+) with the largest commercial landscaping company in the US! This role focuses on breaking into new opportunities, building relationships with construction decision makers, and partnering with our estimating/bidding team to win full-scope landscape design, installation, and maintenance projects. This is a pure hunter role with a 6 -18 month sales cycle and high visibility within the organization.
Compensation

- Base + Uncapped Commissions
Key Responsibilities
:
- Prospect, qualify, and manage a full regional sales pipeline.
- Target commercial new-construction opportunities and upcoming bid projects.
- Build relationships with General Contractors (GCs), Construction Project Managers, landscape architects, developers, real estate firms, C-suite leaders, and bidding platform managers.
- Work closely with the estimating/bidding team to develop accurate and compelling proposals.
- Lead the sales process from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and contract close.
- Maintain a strong presence in the field through site visits, networking events, and in-person meetings.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff.
- Track all activity and opportunities within the CRM.
- Meet or exceed individual and regional sales goals.
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction or commercial services.
- Proven Outside B2B sales hunter with experience prospecting and closing new business.
- Experience selling into commercial construction or service-contract environments.
- Successful track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong face-to-face selling skills with mid- to senior-level decision makers.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles (6-18 months) and multiple opportunities at once.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- High-energy, resilient, persistent, and results-driven.
