We also have locations in Chattanooga TN, Knoxville TN, Louisville KY, Bowling Green KY, Atlanta GA, Huntsville AL, Birmingham AL, Phenix City AL, Loxley, AL, Denver CO, and Colorado Springs CO. Job Summary Concrete Pump Partners is hiring a Sales Representative to support our growing business. Successful candidates for this role are self-motivated sales professionals with strong relationship-building skills and a results-driven approach. This position is responsible for generating leads, developing new business, and servicing construction clients. In this role, you will pursue opportunities, educate potential customers about our concrete pumping services, negotiate deals, and manage customer accounts. Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred. Responsibilities * Identify potential clients through networking, attending industry events and trade shows, cold calling, and other lead-generation strategies. * Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients to ensure trust, repeat business, and customer satisfaction. * Possess strong knowledge of concrete pumping services and how they apply to construction projects, including equipment features and benefits. * Effectively present and demonstrate the value of CPP services to potential clients in a clear, professional manner. * Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure business and achieve sales targets. * Provide continued support post-sale, addressing inquiries and resolving any customer issues promptly. * Remain informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to support strategic selling. * Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions, opportunities, and performance metrics using CRM tools. * Collaborate with the Business Development team to track active projects and customer leads. * Attend after-hours networking events, meetings, and client entertainment as necessary. * Perform other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience * 3-5 years of sales experience required (any industry). * Prior outside sales or business-to-business (B2B) sales experience preferred. * Experience in the construction or concrete industry is highly preferred. * A Business Administration degree with a concentration in Sales or Marketing is preferred. * Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales goals and build lasting client relationships. Knowledge * Understanding of construction processes, equipment, and industry dynamics. * Familiarity with concrete pumping or related services is a plus. * Knowledge of CRM platforms and digital sales tools. * Awareness of current industry trends and competitor activity. Skills and Qualifications * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong time management and organizational skills. * Ability to deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations. * Skilled in negotiation and closing deals. * High-level customer service and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude. * Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce or similar preferred). * Ability to independently manage a sales pipeline and follow through on leads. * Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer concerns and challenges. * Willingness to travel regularly and participate in events outside of standard business hours. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This role requires the use and operation of a vehicle. Working Conditions This job operates in both office and field environments. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites and occasional work outside regular business hours for client events and meetings. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required.
