Overview Job Summary The Sales and Distribution department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the company's values to join their team as a Sales Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position that works from the Metro Boise area. Responsibilities The Sales Manager develops, establishes, and maintains relationships with assigned agencies, identifies agency needs, proactively helps resolve service issues, creates awareness of the Brand and is responsible to achieve sales goals. The Sales will plan, organize, and conduct thoughtful and meaningful agency meetings as well as develop and negotiate annual production goals for assigned agencies and will monitor performance of managed agencies and communicate results. The Sales Manager will develop market intelligence tracking industry trends to increase knowledge and gain a market improved market and facilitates strategic business development. The person in this position identifies additional sources of premium production, thoroughly vets the prospective agencies as to the opportunity for profitable growth and prepares business cases in support of agency appointments. This position requires overnight travel up to 25%. Qualifications for the ideal candidate 5+ years of P & C insurance sales and distribution experience.
