Overview We are seeking an Automotive Salvage Yard Salesperson to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers and business clients to promote and sell salvage parts utilizing strong sales skills and industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience in walk-in and business to business sales with excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Multilingual skills are a plus to effectively serve diverse customer bases. Duties * Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound calls, cold calling, and networking efforts. * Engage with potential clients including dealerships, repair shops, and private buyers to promote salvage yard inventory. * Conduct high-end sales and upselling of vehicle parts. * Negotiate deals effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards. * Present products confidently through public speaking engagements or demonstrations when necessary. * Assist in marketing efforts to attract new customers and retain existing ones through various channels. * Provide sales support by preparing quotes, processing orders, and ensuring accurate documentation of transactions. * Maintain professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills during all customer interactions. Experience * Proven experience in retail automotive sales is preferred. * Demonstrated success in high-end or complex sales environments involving negotiation and deal closing. * Familiarity with our inventory management systems (powerlink) is highly desirable. * Experience working with dealerships or in automotive parts sales will be considered an asset. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. * Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse client bases effectively. * Excellent communication skills including negotiation and customer service are essential for success in this role.
