Key Responsibilities

:

• Build, implement and execute strategic plans to exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Develop strategic new business opportunities within the Hospitality and Designer verticals.
• Manage and grow sales in existing accounts across multiple distribution channels, with a focus on Hospitality and Designer sectors.
• Demonstrate initiative and strategic thinking abilities along with a relentless hunter mentality.
• Consistently execute a disciplined prospecting plan to generate new leads.
• Build, maintain and expertly develop a deep pipeline of qualified Hospitality and Designer prospects to close and win the business.
• Expertly conduct meetings and presentations (both in person and virtual) to qualified prospects with the aim of expertly closing and winning new business.
• Prepare product samples, provide pricing quotations, and communicate program details to existing customers and new prospects.
• Develop a detailed sales playbook that identifies key sales activities, tactics and strategies.
• Monitor the status of key account orders through production to ensure timely delivery.
• Attend and represent the company at industry-specific trade shows to promote Down Inc.'s products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, purchasing, marketing, and customer service teams to support account needs and market strategies.
• Track market trends, competitive insights, and economic indicators to develop effective sales strategies.
• Forecast sales and analyze performance data to support strategic planning.
• Travel approximately 50% of the time with the focus on driving sales and delivering results.

Qualifications

:

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Business or Marketing focus); extensive sales experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience, including 3+ years managing key or national accounts.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, grow existing accounts, and prospect new business.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills to analyze sales data and forecast performance.
• Ability to sell based on value, not just price, with a deep understanding of customer needs.
• Demonstrated success in building long-term customer relationships.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and driven by results.
• Experience in the home textiles, hospitality, or home goods industry is highly preferred. Essential Skills:

• Fiscal responsibility when managing travel and business development expenses.
