Responsibilities * Assist customers with selecting flowers, plants, and floral arrangements, providing expert advice on floral design and care. * Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash and credit payments responsibly. * Prepare and assemble floral arrangements according to customer specifications or store standards, ensuring high-quality presentation. * Maintain organized stock levels by stocking fresh flowers, plants, floral supplies, and merchandising displays to attract customers. * Ensure proper handling and storage of floral products to preserve freshness and quality. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering gardening and horticulture tips, and fostering a welcoming shopping experience. * Support store merchandising efforts by arranging displays that highlight seasonal themes and promote sales opportunities. Skills * Knowledge of floral design techniques, horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance to assist customers effectively. * Experience with retail sales, cashiering, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math to ensure smooth transactions. * Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. * Organizational skills for stocking, inventory management, and maintaining clean workspaces. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks with attention to detail. * Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and e-commerce platforms is advantageous for supporting store operations. * Passion for customer service with a friendly demeanor that fosters positive relationships and repeat business.
