The UPS Store located at Westlake Shopping Center is now accepting applications for FULL and PART-TIME Sales Associates who is available afternoons, evening and weekends. We are located at 235 Westlake Center, Daly City. The position is for customer service in a retail setting. The UPS Store provides business services for our clients that include digital copying/printing, mailbox rental, notary public and fingerprinting services, and shipping & packaging of various items getting shipped both domestic and internationally. We provide online and on the job training in all areas of the position; however a minimum of 2 years of sales experience is a must. Former UPS Store, shipping & receiving experience, knowledge of printing & document services and Notary license/Fingerprint Rolling certification are a plus. If you are not certified or licensed for either, you will be required to become a Notary Public, which entails completing a one day notary class training, passing the notary test, and passing a background check. Our candidate also needs to be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance. We are looking for a self-starter who works well under pressure, has a sense of urgency and understands the need to provide and maintain a positive experience for each and every one of our clients, as well as being able to communicate and work well with our team. The Full-Time associate would work 35-40 hours per week. Store business hours are Monday-Friday, 9am to 7pm, Saturday, 10am to 6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm. The hourly wage starts at $19 to $21 per hour depending on experience & will increase after successfully completing the notary class and requirements within the 90-day probation period.
